My daughter (8th grade) has had such a wonderful experience tutoring under Henry. My husband has a math degree and I'm a copywriter, and despite our experience, we struggled with helping her with her math and writing assignments. It's one thing to understand a subject, but a different skill set to teach it. Henry has helped her raise her grades and -- more importantly -- her confidence in these subjects. She's more excited about school and looks forward to her sessions with Henry. He's always patient and can break down even the most complicated concepts into easier steps so she doesn't get overwhelmed. He's like the Mary Poppins of tutoring -- practically perfect in every way -- and I'd recommend him to anyone who's looking to find a tutor for their child. If you're on the fence about whether a tutor will help, definitely set up a session and give it a try. I wish we'd found him sooner.

My child came to Henry working on problems well below grade level and we were met with frustration and tears when trying to help her at home. Where to start?! If I sit down and envision the ideal tutor for my kiddo, I see Henry. He is kind, patient, organized, and communicative. Our kiddo needed to learn some foundational math skills, not just homework help. Henry has worked with her to figure out the areas she needs help with and comes to each session with an individualized learning plan. My kiddo has started to engage in her classroom work more because she’s gained so much confidence from working with Henry. We could not be happier with Henry’s excellent tutoring and highly recommend.

Henry at Orion Tutoring Center is the best tutor! My fifth grader has been doing tutoring with Henry for the last eight weeks and the academic improvement has been incredible. His handwriting has improved immensely, his ability to spell words has improved incredibly, he’s able to get thoughts out of his head and write down sentences in ways I’ve never seen him do before. I’ve received messages from his teachers at school saying how much better he’s doing academically ever since starting with tutoring. We’ve even gotten back two test just this week where he’s scored higher than I’ve ever seen him score on a test before. I wish I had my child start with tutoring sooner. 10/10!
